Murrang Earth Sciences led work relating to chemical contamination in the revision of AS4454, the Australian standard for composts, mulches, and soil conditioners. We provided scientific advice on the identification and assessment of contaminants in recycled organics and related waste streams.
 

The project included development of an innovative framework for assessing emerging chemicals of concern, drawing on new assessment methodologies. Findings were communicated to a wide range of industry stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
